As a Soviet heavy tank built in early WWII, the KV-2 tank had a rectangular turret with a 152mm howitzer installed on the chassis. The tank had an exaggerated profile. Although most KV-2 tanks were lost in the early period of Soviet-German War, their thick armor and unique profile left a deep impression upon both parties.
